eBook Creator Help

The information below is meant to be a guide to provide help on how to Create, Modify, Save, Export and Delete an ebook.

The bookcreator plugin provides functionality to select multiple pages on help-staging.ipass.com and create an ebook (PDF file). TechPubs uses this plugin to create ebooks for all OM Platforms these include OM Portal, OM Windows, OM Mac, OM iOS, and OM Android.

1. Click the “Clear Selection” button.
   1. This will clear any pages that were previously selected
2. Click or search for a page you want to add to your ebook
3. Click “Add this page to your book” on the bookcreator toolbar (bookcreator toolbar located at the top of the page).

1. Click on “Show, Modify book” on the bookcreator toolbar
2. Under “Save Selection” give your ebook a file name
3. Click Save

1. Select the ebook you want to export
2. Under “Export Selection - Document's Title” give the document a title
3. Under “Export Selection” select “Export selection to PDF”
4. Click Export

1. Click or search for a page you want to remove from your ebook
2. Click “Remove this page from your book”

If you want to remove multiple pages from your ebook without switching screens you can do the following:

1. Click on “Show, Modify book” on the bookcreator toolbar
2. Click on the “Trash Can” icon next to the page(s) you want to remove

1. Click on the “Trash Can” icon next to the ebook you want to delete

1. Log in to OM Help Staging (help-staging.ipass.com)
2. Click on the Admin button located on the bottom tool bar
3. Click on Manage Plugins
4. Click bookcreator so the check is in the box (this means it is enabled)
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save

1. Log in to OM Help Staging (help-staging.ipass.com)
2. Click on the Admin button located on the bottom toolbar
3. Click on Manage Plugins
4. Click bookcreator so their is NO check in the box (this means it is disabled)
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save
