Assign users to a role

To assign users to a role:

  1. On the Manage Roles list, select the role you want to assign users to, and then select Manage Assigned Users from the drop-down list.
  2. Under Unassigned Users, select a user to assign to the role. (Under Search for user by name, you can view all users or enter a search criterion to filter the entire list of users. For example, you could search for all users named James.)
  3. Using the right arrow, move your selected users from the Unassigned Users column to the Assigned Users column. You can unassign a user from a role by selecting the user and clicking the left arrow button.
  4. Using the arrow controls, repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have you have assigned all desired users to the role.
  5. Click Save.
